About Character Migration
Character Migration is an independent guide for people who want to save their Character.AI data and characters and move them to another platform. We are not affiliated with Character.AI, Chatbot Manager (CAI Tools), SillyTavern, or SpicyChat.
How we check information:
- We prioritize primary sources—Character.AI's blog and help center, and each platform's own documentation—and link to them. When a claim relies on independent reporting, we name and link the outlet.
- We test imports ourselves with characters we created, and describe what we tested, the test date and environment, the versions we recorded, and any version we didn't record.
- We list a platform as able to import characters only after checking its official documentation or testing it.
- Each guide shows the date it was last updated. When official information changes, we update the page.
We don't run ads or affiliate links on this site. If that changes, we'll label those links clearly.
